Hen party games are not only a great way to break the ice and uncover embarassing facts about the bride but are also a nifty way of adding activities to your party without breaking the bank. Read on for three fun hen party games that you could incorporate into your hen party. Look out for regular updates and new games.

To help you with you games why not purchase one of our Hen Party Games Pads (pictured above) which contain 8 different games for the hens to play. Click here for more info or to buy.

1. Pearls of Wisdom

Pass round pieces of card and each hen writes a piece of advice about marriage or the wedding day for the bride to be. These can be serious or silly things e.g. "never go to sleep on an argument" or "take off your wedding dress before going back for your wedding night.. taking off such a complicated contraption can seriously ruin the moment!".

Top tip: Keep the cards and add them to your hen party scrapbook for a keepsake.

2. Guess the body part!

Yes this is a little bit naughty, but every hen party needs a bit of naughtiness and I am sure that you will have fun arranging it!! Get the groom-to-be to take photos of various bits of his body (bottom, pecs, tummy etc). Then get various boyfriends, male friends etc to do the same. The bride then has to guess which part belongs to her beloved!

Top tips: For an x-rated twist on the game buy some willy moulding sets and get the bride to guess (blindfolded) which is her man's tackle.

3. The Chocolate Game.

This is a game that we used to play at sleepovers when we were little but it translates just as well to a hen party game. You will need a giant bar of chocolate, a knife and fork, a dice and various bit of fancy dress (be sure to include gloves). Each hen takes it in turn to throw the dice. When you throw a 6 you have to put on all the fancy dress and eat the chocolate with a knife and fork. Eat as much as possible until the next 6 is thrown and then hand over the fancy dress items. Keep going until the choc is finished.

Top tips: Best played when hungry to add an extra competitive element!

4. I Have Never

This is an easy one and good for when you are out in a bar. Starting with the Bride to Be go round the table and take it in turns to say something that you have never done e.g. "I have never kissed more than one guy in a night". Everyone in the group who has done that thing must stand up and drink.

Top tips: If you like you can also make them recount their story. This ended up in hilarity recently at a hen party we were at where the mother of the groom and the bride to be both confessed to getting jiggy on the same kitchen table... yikes!

5
. Make a 'time capsule'

This can either be prepared before the hen party as a gift or during the hen party as a game. Get a tin or other container. Get all the hens to write messages, photos, cuttings, predictions for the future etc and put them in the container. This is then sealed and kept in a safe place until the specified date (we suggest a future wedding anniversary). It is then opened by the bride who can reminisce on all those happy memories and see if the predictions have come true!

Top tips: If you bury the time capsule make sure that you remember where!!
