The credit crunch is something that we all hear a lot about nowadays. It can be especially scary if you are planning a wedding and a hen party and we know that for many of you the pennies may be tighter than usual. However, the show must go on so here's a few tips on saving those pennies with the help of The Hen Project... |
| 1. Make a budget and stick to it! |
It may sound obvious but without having a budget from the outset, you can end up spending more than you bargained for. Speak to the other hens and agree on a price per hen. Make it clear what is to be included in the budget and what costs might be added on the night. That way the hens can plan ahead. Remember, you don't have to spend the earth. The most important thing is that the girls are together. |
The Hen Project can plan a bespoke party for any budget. Just email bespoke@thehenproject.com for more information. |
| 2. Show off your skills! |
Is one of the hens the next Gordon Ramsay? Get her to make some cup cakes or a meal for everyone. Is there a Picasso or Van Gogh amongst you? Ask her to make a creative present for the bride or some funky decorations. |
What we're getting at is that if everyone chips in, you can make your money go further. It might take more time and effort but the home-made results can be worth it. Go girls! Your hens need you! |
| 3. Girls night in is the new girls night out. |
Save money on expensive drinks, club entry and taxis by staying in for your hen party! If you are lucky enough to have enough room to host the hen party then why not have it at home? If not then The Hen Project bespoke service can arrange beautiful self catered accomodation for you, which can work out cheaper than a hotel. |
| Then cook up some yummy food, pop a cork and play some games for a brilliant night in with the girls. To add some spice to your night, why not book one of our butlers for an hour or two? Our butler prices are the cheapest around and minimum hire period is only one hour! |
The Hen Project can also arrange for some other wonders to come to you. How about a beauty session or life drawing class at home? See our bespoke page for more details. |
| 4. Have some fun and games! |
| There are lots of games that can be played to fill up some hen party time and make your party even more fun! See our Hen Party Games page for some ideas on some cracking games. Check out The Hen Project Gift Shop for some great value games to help get your started. |
