Terms and Conditions- Bespoke

Below are the terms and conditions for The Hen Project bespoke hen party planning service.

1. Quotations

Quotations are valid at the date of the quotation only. Prices and availability cannot be guaranteed until a booking deposit has been made.

2. Confirmation

No bookings shall be deemed to be accepted by The Hen Project unless, and until, confirmed in writing by The Hen Project. The payment of a Booking Deposit will imply that the Client accepts these Terms and Conditions.

3. Payment

a.     Before engaging the services of The Hen Project for a bespoke hen party planning service, the Client must pay a fixed non refundable deposit of £50. This will be known as the Retainer Deposit. The Retainer Deposit will be deducted from the Final Balance.

b.     A payment of no less than 50% of the Total Cost is due at the time of booking. This payment will be known as the Booking Deposit.

c.      The Hen Project reserves the right to request more than a 50% Booking Deposit  if the nature of the party requires it.

d.     The booking will not be confirmed and no accomodation or other services reserved until the Booking Deposit is received.

e.     The Final Balance will be paid by the Client no less than 28 days before the start date of the party.

f.      Unless otherwise agreed by prior arrangement all invoices are due for settlement within 14 days of the date of issue.

g.     Payment may be made by cheque, cash, paypal or bank transfer as agreed between the Client and The Hen Project. 

h.      In the case of cancellation, payment will be payable by the Client in accordance with the list of charges specified in Schedule 1.

4. Variations

Please note that the prices quoted are based on the number of guests specified by the client.  The price and itinerary are therefore subject to alteration depending on the agreed final number of guests.  The contents of menus, decorations or any other items The Hen Project shall supply are subject to market availability.  Any alteration will be notified to clients.

5. Loss and damage

a.     The Client is wholly responsible for the accommodation for the duration of the party. Any breakage, loss or damage, however caused, will be charged to the Client at the full replacement cost.  

b.     The Hen Project will not be liable for the loss or damage of any property belonging to the Client during the provision of the services, however caused

c.      The Client will indemnify The Hen Project against all proceedings, costs, fees, payments, expenses, liabilities, losses and damages arising out of the actions or non-performance of the Client.

6. Queries 

Any queries or complaints relating to the event must be received in writing within 7 days of the event. The Hen Project will endeavour to deal with such queries within 14 days.

7.  Force Majeure

No liability is accepted for failure of performance due to strike, lock out, terrorism, weather, hostilities, act of God or any other circumstances outside The Hen Project's control.

8.  Limitation of Liability

No liability is accepted for loss, damage or consequential loss caused by The Hen Project's failure to perform its obligations (whether that failure is due to negligence on the part of The Hen Project, its officers, employees or subcontractors or due to other causes).

9.  Law of the Contract:

The performance, the validity, construction and all aspects of the order shall be governed by English Law and the parties agree to submit to exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

SCHEDULE I

Cancellation

In the event that you cancel the party, any Retainer Deposit or Booking Deposit  which you have paid shall be forfeit.  In addition you will be liable to pay  the following percentage of the Final Balance:
